Application Center

The Application Center is focused on testing new manufacturing and technological processes for our customers. LaserTherm invested 1 million EUR in the establishment of this center.

Customers will gain key answers when deciding on an investment in new technology:

1) about product quality

2) about production speed and cycle time

3) about economic returns and operating costs

Laser Cleaning

High-performance pulsed laser TRUMPF TruMicro 7060

Scanning heads for high-capacity surface cleaning

Cleaning and structuring of steels, Al-alloys, Cu-alloys, and non-metallic materials

All integrated with an industrial robot on a linear track

”Laser scanning head TRUMPF PFO 33-2

Surface structuring by laser

Laser technology can precisely structure various surfaces of both metallic and non-metallic materials. This modification is used, for example, for:

· increasing the functional surface area of electrodes

· manufacturing an anchor lock before painting

· reducing transitional resistances in conductive joints

· enhancing surface adhesion

Surface roughening by Trumpf laser
