Development of laser welding for the purpose of welding components and basic construction for trams
cz.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/17_205/0014647
The project " Development of laser welding for the purpose of welding components and basic construction for trams" is the development of laser welding technology for its implementation in the field of production of rail vehicles. It will include the necessary tests on the weld samples (3x), which are necessary for the carrying out of 3 pieces of WPQR, as well as finding suitable process parameters of laser welding through analyses of microstructure, stiffness and ultrasonic testing of weld joints including subsequent optimization and writing down 30 accurate welding processes (WPS).
Thanks to the support of the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, we were able to implement the project Development of Laser Welding for the Welding of Components and Base Structures for Tram Vehicles (CZ.01.1.02 / 0.0 / 0.0 / 17_205 / 0014647) in the Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness Program. whose budget was 399.000, - CZK without VAT, while our company received a 75% subsidy of 299.250, - CZK.
Our company LaserTherm Ltd is very grateful to the European Union for its support in its innovative efforts.

Optimization of laser hardening processes
cz.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/16_045/0009783
The subject of the project is a study '' Optimization of laser hardening processes ''. The optimization will be realized using FEM model, which will monitor dependence of parameters of laser hardening process for specific blade geometry. Changing the parameters will reach the optimization of the process. The achieved results will serve our company LaserTherm Ltd to optimize the laser hardening process of the leading edges of steam turbine blades and to reduce the human factor influence on the process. Now we will be able to significantly speed up and simplify the process parameters setting of laser hardening for various types of blades.
The implementation of the project and its outputs were realized thanks to EU support.

Development and numerical simulation of 3-axis positioners for robotic welding
cz.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/16_045/0010553
The subject of the project is the development and numerical simulation of a 3-axis positioner for robotic welding. The service supplied by the provider will include the development of a 3-axis positioner for robotic welding, a finite element simulation to verify the dimensioning of the supporting elements of the proposed positioner construction, and the processing of the complete drawing documentation. Within the project, the design and computational work is carried out using the Siemens NX 3D software needed to achieve the main objective of the project - the development of a 3-axis positioner for robotic welding. Drawing documentation of individual construction nodes will be created.
The implementation of the project and its outputs were realized thanks to EU support.
